Isabelle Pontal

Isabelle Pontal joined FTMS in January 2020. She specialises in all areas of labour law and provides extensive advisory and litigation services to a wide array of clients, including both French and international companies.

Prior to joining FTMS, Isabelle spent fifteen years as Counsel at the law firm Jeantet and gained valuable experience at several other prominent Anglo-Saxon law firms, such as EY and PWC.

Isabelle has developed expertise in providing legal counsel to companies during acquisitions (social audits and negotiations), restructuring (internal reorganisations, employment protection plans, collective bargaining agreements), and mergers and acquisitions (providing negotiations support in the harmonisation of collective personnel statuses).

She has notably assisted a major automotive group, a media group and an international clothing chain in their successive reorganisations.

She provides expert advice on working hours, employee savings schemes, and the negotiation of collective agreements. She also has extensive experience in labour and social security litigation.
