|White-collar crime
Jérémy Gutkès joined FTMS in 2021. He represents and defends individuals and corporations, both plaintiffs and defendants, before criminal courts and advises clients on criminal risk, compliance and internal investigations.
Due to his academic background in white collar criminal law, Jérémy is able to defend companies and their leaders in complex litigation related to business matters (misuse of corporate assets, undeclared workers, money laundering, and corruption).
As a dual national of France and Germany, Jérémy also manages cross-border disputes for international clients.
He specializes in press law and routinely handles high-profile cases with significant media attention that require both a legal and reputational defence.
Prior to joining FTMS, Jeremy acquired valuable experience through internships in the French courts as well as in the compliance department of a major oil company, which he uses to provide strategic guidance to the firm’s clients on implementing anti-corruption compliance programs and conducting internal investigations.
