Maximilien has a background in corporate law but has since specialized in labour law. Prior to joining FTMS, he worked as a labour law associate with the firm Jeantet. He had also trained at Anglo-Saxon law firms and in the Legal department of an English bank.

Maximilien has developed specialised expertise in key areas such as working hours, employee savings schemes and corporate restructuring, particularly in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and commerce. He played a pivotal role in guiding an automotive group through its restructuring process.
